Grounded Kiwi Gives Back

We are proud to provide support to Taranaki Kiwi Trust. Helping support the team's great work to care for our Kiwi on Taranaki Maunga and throughout Taranaki.

Part of the proceeds from all sales is donated to the registered Trust.

The Trust was formed in 2001 and has led the way in the protection of the existing remnant kiwi populations by way of trapping. It has also played a significant role in increasing populations by translocating birds to new sites from the Taranaki Kohanga Kiwi at Rotokare, in partnership with the Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust.

$2790 Donation to Kiwis for Good Foundation

Instead of doing a Black Friday special, Grounded Kiwi decided we were more about giving back. We did our own version with the Grounded Kiwi 'Do Good' sale. Giving a discount to our community and 5% of every dollar back to our community via Kiwis for Good. 

Kiwis for Good are legends, helping to support those most in need of support and guidance in our communities. Providing not just support in their time of need but real pathways forward into a better and more fullfilling life.

At Kiwis For Good, mental health is about more than just awareness—it’s about action. It’s about giving people the tools, support, and opportunities they need to build stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Although we are not currently active in the club, the Okato squash club has been a big part of our family. This club always promotes wellness and connection within its small community, and we feel privileged to sponsor it for the second year running.

$500 Donation to the Taranaki Kiwi Trust


Grounded Kiwi made another $500 donation to the Taranaki Kiwi Trust today.

Even though we are not immune to the economic slowdown, we continue to give back to the community we are part of, and we will continue to do so.

Just under $20,000 given back so far.

$500 Donation to the Taranaki Kiwi Trust


Some days it's not easy to send money off for a donation, but whenever I hit that button, the feeling is good. Giving back to our community has always been part of what Grounded Kiwi and our family stands for. Whenever I 'Give' the universe provides. Today, Grounded Kiwi is being squeezed by low-quality overseas competitors using blatantly illegal scare tactics to trick people into buying from them, which significantly squeezes us out. I will just continue to live by my values and continue to give!

Horses Helping Humans™ is an internationally recognised, award-winning programme which empowers vulnerable youth/rangatahi, providing them with lifelong skills to manage anxiety, anger, stress and pressure proactively.

A night of glamour, generosity, and community, all in support of young wāhine facing cancer.


Where the funds raised will go towards:

🩷   An annual retreat for young cancer survivors
🩷    Financial support for travel to treatment and other medical expenses
🩷   Ongoing emotional, social, and practical support

Contributing to society has always been important to me. Giving back is a privilege that my family and I enjoy. Supporting those who are doing good is truly rewarding, and you won’t find more down-to-earth people than those who work tirelessly at the @taranakikiwitrust to ensure that future generations can enjoy our native birds thriving as they once did.

Today we have made another $500 donation to the Taranaki Kiwi Trust.

We're as chuffed as a Tui with an endless supply of nectar—we've raised over $2,500 for KidsCan NZ. Giving 5% of every sale back to support our community.

Did you know that by Supporting Grounded Kiwi, you are helping secure our Kiwi bird for future generations?

The Taranaki Kiwi Trust is doing a fantastic job of helping Kiwi thrive in their native bush so that future generations can hear and even see Kiwi.

We have heard that our young Kiwis have made it through this year's most dangerous time unscathed by predators! This is so good to hear :)

Grounded Kiwi Gives Back - and we love it!

The TKT has shared with us that our donations make a significant difference. Our contributions can be used for essential daily needs, allowing the dedicated team to work efficiently.
